The latest piece is exploring a hand built method using coils to build the bowl shape. Not easy to produce a symmetric shape with no mould, so the bowl is truly organic. The rings that I have produced for this can either flow down the side of the bowl or they can be stacked on top. The beauty of a piece that you have control of how it is presented.
